Touch of Intention
with
Nícole

Intentional, integrative bodywork for those ready to release long-held tension, and reconnect with their whole selves.
More than just massage therapy, this work is a slower, more attentive way of listening to the body, blending grounding, flowing touch with gentle rhythmic movement and supported stretching, woven together with breath and guided awareness. Each session unfolds responsively and with care, creating space for your nervous system to settle, patterns to shift, and your body to soften, open, and move with greater ease.

Grounded Thai Style Sessions
We've moved off of the table. *All sessions now take place on a comfortable Thai massage mat on the floor. This grounded setting allows for a more spacious, supported approach to bodywork, giving both you and your body room to settle, move, and respond naturally. Many clients find that after just one session, they prefer the openness, stability, and groundedness of working on the floor compared to the table.
Sessions are paced slowly and shaped around what’s present that day. We begin with a brief conversation to understand what you’re noticing in your body and what feels most supportive. From there, the work unfolds in an integrative way.

Flowing, intentional touch is combined with gentle rhythmic movement, supported stretching, and subtle mobilization. Sometimes the work is still and quiet; at other times, more dynamic and engaged, and always adapting to what you and your body are ready for.
Breath and guided awareness are woven throughout, helping you stay connected to your internal experience rather than simply receiving technique. The structure remains flexible and responsive. Some sessions are deeply restorative; others invite mobility, exploration, and participation.
Each session is collaborative and attuned to your nervous system, creating a steady foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
*accommodation can be made for persons who have difficulty getting onto and off of the floor*
Why It Works

By combining therapeutic touch with assisted movement and breath, we’re not only working with muscles, but with the systems that organize them. When the body is supported in this integrated way, it becomes more adaptable and responsive. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates flexibility. And flexibility allows new patterns of ease to emerge, not just during a session, but in daily life.
The body holds patterns of tension, compensation, and protection that often operate beneath conscious awareness. When touch is attentive and movement is supported rather than forced, the nervous system has space to settle. In that steadier state, the body becomes more receptive to change, and shifts are more likely to integrate rather than fade.
The Role of Intention
Intention is central to this practice.
Clients are invited to consider what they hope to receive from each session. Sometimes that intention is physical and works at relieving tension, restoring mobility, or calming the nervous system. Other times it may be more subtle: reconnecting with the body, slowing down, or simply allowing space to reset.
At the same time, the practitioner approaches the session with intention as well, to listen carefully to the body and respond with skill, attention, and presence.

At A Touch of Intention, sessions here are now longer and more focused into 90 or 120 minutes blocks. One hour simply isn't enough. Ongoing work will be guided by treatment plans, so membership plans and Gift Cards will no longer be available.
Current members can continue using existing plans until they expire. Afterward, you’ll have the option to step into thoughtfully designed wellness plans.
The work itself hasn’t changed: it remains unhurried, responsive, and deeply intentional, blending touch, breath, and presence so your body can settle, release, and guide the session. Every session is a space to pause, listen, and allow your body to do what it already knows how to do, with time, care, attention, and the same practitioner you've come to know and love!
